It’s National Apprenticeship Week, and we’re proud to recognise Shayon for his hard work and dedication since joining the team at Benning Brothers Ltd.
Shayon has made a great start on his Level 2 Carpentry and Joinery Apprenticeship and is mentored by our Working Site Foreman, Dave, whose strong carpentry background and leadership make him an excellent guide as Shayon develops his skills.
Apprenticeships are an invaluable pathway into the construction industry, allowing individuals to gain hands-on experience on live sites while working towards a recognised qualification. At Benning Brothers, our apprentices have the opportunity to work alongside experienced site managers, trades, and labourers, helping them build both confidence and real-world expertise.
Since joining, Shayon has shown a fantastic work ethic and a willingness to support the team wherever needed. He is a great example of the positive impact apprentices can have on-site, and we have no doubt he has a bright future ahead with the continued support and mentorship of the BBL team.
With around 82,000 construction apprentices currently enrolled across Great Britain, it’s important to recognise the individuals shaping the future of our industry. We’re proud to play a part in creating these opportunities and supporting the next generation of construction professionals, with the help of CITB and their critical funding.
