The projects are due to commence in the coming weeks and will be delivered as quick turnaround schemes, with each expected to be completed within approximately 5–8 weeks.
Across the five properties, the works will include the installation of solar PV panels and air source heat pumps, helping to improve energy performance and support more sustainable building use.
Where required, we will also be carrying out associated fabric upgrades, including improvements to loft insulation and window upgrades to enhance thermal performance.
BBL have appointed a dedicated delivery team for these projects to provide consistency, efficiency and strong quality control across the programme.
In line with our commitment to reducing the environmental impact of our works, we will be making use of electric vehicles where practical, coordinating labour and site visits efficiently, and retaining the same core teams across the projects to reduce unnecessary travel.
We will also be working with local labour and local builders’ merchants wherever possible, supported by a just-in-time procurement approach to minimise waste, reduce excess site storage and keep the works moving efficiently.
