BBL are pleased to share that we’ve been appointed to rebuild a residential property in Hertfordshire that was severely damaged by fire, requiring full demolition.
We’re proud to support the homeowners in restoring both their home and their peace of mind.
Progress Update:
After just 6 weeks on site, we’ve already completed:
- Foundations
- Drainage
- Substructure
This essential groundwork sets the stage for a strong and lasting build.
However this project hasn’t come without its challenges. Higher-than-normal ground contamination levels required environmentally compliant handling and disposal methods. Restricted site access made logistics more complex but thanks to careful planning, team coordination, and support from understanding neighbours, we’ve kept the project both safe and on schedule.

We’re now installing a block and beam floor system—a durable, cost-effective and moisture-resistant solution that provides excellent load-bearing capacity and long-term stability for the ground floor of this family home.
