Project Details

  • Location: East Sussex
  • Project Type: Insurance Reinstatement (Escape of Water)
  • Duration: 12 Weeks

Our Approach

As with all insurance reinstatement projects, our process began with a full strip-out and enabling works. This crucial initial phase allowed us to:

  • Remove all water-damaged materials and fixtures
  • Identify the full extent of the damage
  • Prepare the property for first fix and reinstatement works

Following the strip-out, we moved into the first fix stage, which involved installing essential infrastructure such as electrical wiring, plumbing, and pipework. These critical components are the foundation of the property’s long-term safety and functionality.

The project then progressed to the decorative reinstatement phase, where the property truly came back to life. This stage provided an opportunity for the homeowner to personalise and enhance their living space. In this instance, the client opted for a kitchen upgrade, significantly improving the overall appearance and functionality of the home.

Thanks to careful planning and efficient project management, the works were completed within the agreed 12-week schedule, meeting all client expectations with minimal disruption.

The Outcome

We are extremely pleased with the successful completion of this East Sussex project. Through strong communication, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality, the Benning Brothers team delivered:

  • High-quality reinstatement works, both structural and decorative
  • Timely completion in line with the project schedule
  • Enhanced living spaces through client-led upgrades

The property was restored to a comfortable, functional, and visually appealing family home — allowing the occupants to return with confidence and satisfaction.
